Alaska Monitoring & Drug Testing was founded January 1st 2008. Kimberly Scott, CEO of AKM&DT, as a single mother realized the continuing need for Ignition Interlock devices in Alaska when the company she was employed with went out of business. Taking the initiative Kimberly contacted DRAEGER Ignition Interlock to continue the contract here in Alaska. Kimberly fully understands the hardships faced by families in need and the financial burden they face every day. Kimberly has maintained the attitude that client care is foremost in her business and this is carried forth with her agents and service providers
While our main office is in Fairbanks we operate offices Statewide offering Ignition Interlocks for Court-ordered DWI/DUI offenders; we also offer lease and service agreements to companies interested in ensuring their own employees' sobriety and public safety while operating employer-provided transportation. We know that once the legal issue has been resolved the recovery begins. Our company policy is to assist clients through education, monitoring, and reporting. Our goal is the prevention of DWI/DUI repeat offenses. Unlike some other providers we make every effort to assist our clients in getting back on their feet.
